Ripples of Hope + Anoothi

Ripples of Hope is a non-profit organization that brings families, communities and leaders together with the understanding that we are more alike than we are different. Their work spans from Boston, MA to South Africa, the Bahamas, India and New Orleans. Their relationship with Anoothi began in 2013 with a block printing initiative program. Ripples has fundraised to encourage the growth of Anoothi's artisans and overall business development. Visit here to purchase product from the collection.

Apart of the non-profit, Vatsalya, founded in Jaipur, India, Anoothi is Vatsalya's for-profit organization that seeks to empower women through consistent employment and artisan training. Anoothi provides uneducated and illiterate women with opportunities to make a livelihood for themselves and more importantly, their children.  Anoothi hopes that through teaching women a skill, they will be empowered and feel capable in their lives at home which will ultimately provide a better environment and future for their children

By curating color palettes, sourcing fabrics and creating new designs, Olivia hopes to help Anoothi find their niche in the industry in addition to bringing in consistent work, providing full time employment to their artisans. Flip through the photos here to see more and follow along on my instagram to learn more about my Indian adventures.
